Engagement
Between 2006 and 2008, 500 Team Leaders across Philips participated in the "Engaging for Performance" master class designed by Executive Learning Partnership. Through an appeal to the "heart" and the "hands" rather than the "head", Employee Engagement Survey results were translated into enquiring dialogue and positive management actions.
The Pearl Group's "Hero's Journey" and rehearsing leadership "moments of truth" enabled deep discussions about styles of leadership affecting engagement and the reality in Philips.
The master classes were a success, testified by an average evaluation rating of 4.5 out of 5 and the request for a follow-on program for leading the next generation of service professionals. |
